This Summer Sign Up for NEC’s Jazz Lab!
Sunday, June 26 through
Friday, July 1, 2016

Jazz Lab is a program that is designed for students ages 14-18 that emulates the NEC college experience, providing the opportunity for motivated students to spend a week on campus performing with like-minded musicians, working one on one with world class faculty, and learning in a fun, laid back atmosphere while taking their abilities to the next level. The program features daily classes in jazz theory and ear training, improvisation, small ensemble rehearsals, masterclasses, and concerts.

This year’s renowned guest artists, Ran Blake, Dominique Eade, Allan Chase, and Rakalam Bob Moses will not only have an impact on participants through their innovative teaching, but with their spectacular performances throughout the week.

All About Jazz Italia
“Known to be passionate about cinema, Ran Blake gives us one of his most significant works and passionate exploring the universe of one of his great loves, Claude Chabrol, the cover, scopertamente Hitchcockiana, and disk evokes a deftly expressive universe…

One of the best discs of the first part of 2016, there is no doubt.”
